Milwaukee Urban League is celebrating 100 years of service to the Milwaukee community through advocacy and direct services that impact the quality of life for African Americans and other communities of color. Education, employment, entrepreneurship, economic development, health, housing, social justice and civic engagement are the areas addressed by the league at any given time directly, indirectly, or in collaboration with others.
Since MUL’s founding in 1919, just nine years after the National Urban League was established in New York, the organization has served as a critical platform for change, empowerment, and strategic partnerships across communities."
